Mauzizio Lo Piccolo was born in Palermo and studied with Magda Olivero. He made his operatic debut in 1996 in Erighetta e Don Chilone by Vinci.
After his debut he made several appearances at the Teatro Massimo (Adina by Rossini, Manon Lescaut by Puccini, Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky, La note di un nevrastenico by Rota, Prova di un’opera seria by Gnecco, Rigoletto by Verdi,...)
