Born in Naples, Italy, Cinzia Forte graduated from the conservatory with a diploma in piano and singing. She has won several international competitions such as the Spoleto A. Belli Competition and the 'Giacomo Lauri Volpi' of Latina.

She made her operatic debut at the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto. Since then she has performed at many important opera houses around the world, including Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Covent Garden in London, the Concertgebouw, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, La Maestranza in Seville, Zurich Opernhaus, New National Theatre in Tokyo, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris…
