Riccardo Zanellato graduated from the Conservatory of Adria in 1995. He studied under Arrigo Palo and Banaldo Giaiotti. He has won several competitions such as the Iris Adami Corradetti Competition, the “A. Belli” competition at Spoleto and the Operalia Competition in Tokyo.
He made his operatic debut in Gounod’s Faust. After that he started his international career performing in major productions in theatres around the world. His performances include roles in I Puritani, Lucia di Lammermoor, Anna Bolena, Maria Stuarda, Don Carlo, Rigoletto, Otello, Macbeth,…
He has sung at many renowned Italian and international opera houses as Teatro alla Scala in Milano, Teatro Regio in Torino, Teatro La Fenice in Venezia, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova, Berlin Staatsoper, Opéra Bastille in Paris,…
